Working hours: 48 hours per week
Job description:
As head of the Junior Center Management team, you will:
- Be responsible for the organisation and supervision of all aspects of the residential programme for teenage and pre-teen residential students.
- Set up and wind down the summer center
- Create staff schedules
- Promote a positive image of the organisation
- Hold daily meetings with the Management staff
- Be responsible for student and staff welfare
You’ll also be required to:
- Ensure that the rooming plan is followed.
- Oversee the preparations for the excursion programme
- Ensure all students and group leaders have a good first impression
- Ensure all staff are fully briefed
- Show group leaders or agents around the centers as required.
- Meet with relevant staff, group leader and parents as necessary.
- Support all residential staff and conduct Staff Progress Sessions.
It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll need to have a cool head, excellent judgement and a real flair for managing people.

Accommodation
Staff choosing to work on the Residential course may be required to live on site and if so, you’ll be sharing a comfortable twin room with a colleague. If you do share a room, we’ll give you an extra £25 per week.

Salary range £600 per week
You will also be entitled to 0.6 days paid holiday per week worked which may be taken at the end of the working period and during the contract in exceptional circumstances only. Over a 4-week contract this gives you 2.4 days paid leave and over a 6-week contract, 3.6 days paid leave.
