Kaplan International Colleges offers a teacher training course in preparation for the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). The course provides you with a comprehensive grounding for both the Teaching Knowledge Test, and for your future as a teacher of English.

The Cambridge TKT (Teacher Knowledge Test) course is designed for candidates who:

  • Have little or no previous English language teaching experience

  • Are not native English speakers

  • Language Skills: Reading, listening, speaking and writing

  • Have some teaching experience but little formal training.

The course is highly regarded worldwide for being both accessible and flexible.

Program Facts

Length: 5 weeks

Recommended ages: 18 +

English Entry Requirements: IELTS 5.0 or intermediate level. Students without an official test score can take the free Kaplan International Colleges test.

Hours of tuition per week: Students will study for 26 hours per week with 21 hours in the Cambridge TKT Exam preparation classes and 5 doing structured study.
