Everybody knows that Chicago is the 'windy city.' In the Summer there are lake breezes and in the winter there are icy blasts - truly invigorating! Chicagoans are lucky enough to experience all four seasons. There is heat in the Summer, coolness in the winter and spring and autumn are very pleasant and generally dry. Chicago has no rainy season as such. There are storms in the spring and autumn, but they do come with plenty of warning.
